Pure maple extract provides the perfect method for infusing traditional maple flavor into all of your recipes. If you want to go sugar free, add maple extract in any recipe that calls for maple syrup. If substituting pure maple extract from maple syrup, reduce amount by half.

Recommended Usage:

In standard single batches, use 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon. As a condiment, use dropper to add 1-5 drops to taste. Finally, for wholesale applications, use 2 to 4 ounces per 5 gallons (40 pounds) of mix. Shelf life is 1095 days from manufacture. Manufacture date is listed as UDC. Although, much like a fine red wine, pure vanilla extract actually improves with age.  Store in a cool, dry, dark container away from sunlight.

    Made best ever granola. Plan to use in scones. Knocked off one star for packaging. I ordered two products in the 8 oz bottle and both drip way more than they should when pouring into measuring spoon. Beyond making a mess this is wasting costly extract. Cook’s should work on a solution to this.

    This stuff is great! I have looked in vain for it in stores for many years, then I thought, duh, go on line. It makes the best homemade syrup very inexpensivly – 1 cup brown sugar, 1 c. white sugar, 1 c. water. Boil 5 min. add 1 tsp. maple & 1 tsp. vanilla. Store in frige.

    This made a nice pancake syrup, as an alternative to Maplene artificial flavoring. I used 1 teaspoon of Cook’s Maple extract to 2 cups sugar and 1 cup water. Dissolve the sugar in boiling water, let cool a bit, then add the maple extract. This is really a superior pancake syrup compared to any grocery store brand since those are all made with cheaper corn sweetener, which is inferior to cane sugar for most every application. Add a touch of vanilla extract for an even smoother taste.

    Our family loves pancakes on Saturdays. I’d always made syrup with brown sugar and vanilla, but when I tried adding a few drops of this maple flavor – Wow! The kids now prefer “homemade” syrup to real maple syrup. And…. banana muffins taste much better, as do apple pies and blonde brownies.
