Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh apricots, pitted and sliced
  • 2 cups fresh assorted berries
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp almond extract
  • ¼ tsp ground allspice
  • ¾ cup flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¾ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tsp grated lemon peel

Directions


Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Butter an 11x7x2-inch clear glass baking dish. Mix the fruit, sugar, extract, and spice together and spread on the bottom of the buttered dish. In another bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt and whisk together.
