  1. Cream butter and sugar well
  2. Stir in Cook’s Pure Cookie Vanilla Extract
  3. Add flour gradually and mix to form a fairly stiff dough
  4. Press into a 9″ square pan: prick with fork
  5. Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes, until lightly browned
  6. Cut into 36 squares while still warm
